One Hundred days: Day Fifty-Eight
Tai Chi with a Cheshire cat grin and a definite “I told you so” expression…even in his sleep! Well, I over did the 100 mph day yesterday… or was that 100 lbs? I was feeling so good that I really pushed it and today the 100 lbs pressure seems a bit excessive.
It felt so good to “walk” to my office printer, twice! It felt even better to walk out side and see Summer dividing the Bamboo for our next landscaping project! It felt amazing to make dinner standing up:-)
And today it feels….. well it feels…..a step back or two or maybe no steps today….
Conclusion: Sometimes one should really do as one is told.

Architects and Designers who design for accessible design should spend at least a couple of days in a wheelchair! After spending a month tooling around at home, staying in a hotel and visiting Seattle Orthopedic Center I've come the conclusion that in real terms as to what a person needs, some ADA designed spaces fall short!
