One Hundred Days: Day Three
This is what I see from my bed through a long lens! It feels like I am looking at everything through a long lens this week ……. everything is magnified and I’m focused on the details rather than the overall picture.
When you hit a pothole of life, have an accident or emergency that’s exactly what happens you get defocused away from the big picture and lose sight of the overall strategy and plan.
So today I tried my best to get back on track…
The grab bars I need for my bathroom will arrive from Canada tomorrow. Considering our bathroom Design there was no way the usual grab bars would integrate, so I had Seattle Interiors seek out some designer grab bars. Thank you Kelly for all your help with this.
My ankle surgery is scheduled for 7.30am Seattle time on Monday. I’ll have several screws and a stainless plate engineered into my ankle…intrigued and maybe a little apprehensive…
Otherwise it was pretty much business as usual which felt very good. Skype with a start up marketing director all about positioning yourself! Routine and not so routine calls to vendors helping us on the current Architectural Design project. Learning some new technology……challenging but fun.
On January 26th I learned that the recuperation journey will be about 100 days; that’s this week added to the 12 weeks after my ankle surgery scheduled for next Monday. So this is my personal diary ONE HUNDRED DAYS; it’s really self- therapy to help me deal with the days to come …….. however it will also keep friends and foe alike updated right here on my Images of Life blog, or check the list below in case you have missed one.
