Our four legged feline companions are a very important part of our recuperation process. Eight weeks ago we adopted a Bengal rescue cat and named him Tai Chi. After a very controlled introduction process he and our fifteen year old Burmese, Braun are almost best of friends.

This was Tai Chi earlier to day resting in the chair to the left of my bed.

This is Braun on my right keeping me company.

I did some catchup recreational reading today and am thoroughly enjoying a book of short stories by K.J.Parker the master of the alternative universe. I  learned a lot from his treatise (not really a short story) on Sieges and he drew some interesting parallels between obsession with Siege strategy through the ages and the space race of today. Read it and figure it out yourself 🙂

Tomorrow back to work and two weeks of missed focus to catch up on. Wednesday the cast is removed and the surgery revealed.

My previous posts are below if you are interested.
