When you reach a goal, even an interim goal or milestone you know you are on the right road…….but that’s assuming you’ve made the goals in the first place. It’s important in a recuperation journey to have clearly defined goals or milestones.

We reached a milestone today; ice and elevate really paid off. Kiyoki removed the stitches, all 16 of them on both sides of my foot. That’s a relief in more ways than one. Kiyoki had arrived back from lunch 30 minutes early and took me for my appointment, 30 minutes before it was scheduled…… so appreciated.

Dr.Mark Reed seemed pleased with my progress and set me an intensive exercise schedule for the next four weeks ~ Alphabet and Achilles……more on that when I’m more into it. But remember no weight on my right foot!

Arrived home to a gorgeous sunset, enthusiastic greetings from Tai Chi and Braun and dinner with Proseco.

Conclusion: We passed a milestone on the recuperation journey today

Challenge: How exactly do you do Alphabet and Achilles?

Thanks to everyone for your support and good wishes for my travels to Seattle today,
