Things are often not white and black! I’m one of those people who likes definitive decisions, guidelines and strategies. Recuperation journeys are like that…… lots of gray areas……. are things really getting better? Have I had a set back? When can I move onto the next phase…. not until…maybe?

Today I wrote a post on How I am Using Blogging as Therapy. It made me realize why this “One Hundred Day” commitment is working for me. It’s helping me get definition into those gray areas!

Five friends and relatives came for coffee this morning; three of them chose to have “fizzeled” rainwater instead! I hadn’t seen James’s cousin Bill since sometime in 1993. We had an interesting conversation on the subject of designing for accessibility right along the lines of my yesterday’s post. He’s a Civil Engineer and mentioned that ADA compliant is really just the absolute minimum and he was quite fascinated when I showed him how our house design really works for me in a wheelchair.

Conclusion: Try and get definition in those gray areas of your life, even if it means blogging for therapy.
