One Hundred Days: Day Thirty-Eight
Out with the old and in with the new! When do you keep, restore or preserve the old and when do you just delete it? What are the reasons for keeping an old building like this other than it is very photogenic and great subject matter! Coincidentally it was the first picture I took with my very first iPad!
I’ve had to make this decision a number of times in the past few years. On some occasions a car, boat or house is just not worth keeping as you’ll never get your money back from the restoration or remodel…… however sometimes you just do things on account of emotional attachment and be dammed the investment of money! The investment in enjoyment may in fact be far a better decision….. from a “living” life to the fullest POV.
Right now I am investing a lot of time in a recuperation journey, which has almost reached the 40% milestone. Recuperation takes dedication, focus and time.
I’m at a good point; organization for my current level of immobility is in place to make things a lot less stressful as I cruise to the next appointment with Dr.Reed the week after next. I have not missed one session of the alphabet and achilies exercises since he prescribed them for me 🙂 This investment in exercise is paying off!
I appreciate all the support from friends and business associates, truly this makes a big difference.
My previous recuperation rambles are below……the more recent ones are on page two of this elegant Listly list. The back story can be found on Day-Seven!
