One Hundred Days: Day Forty-Two

I’ve often heard the expression….there are no coincidences ….. in life! Well what are the odds of two birds being on the top of the same tree, perfectly symmetrical at the exact the same time that I had a camera with a long lens at hand?

In all the 14 years I’ve looked at this view, I’ve never seen two birds perched on the tree like this…. one bird often…..but never two! And if it had happened before and I’d seen the two birds, I would not have had my camera!

Is it a coincidence that I broke my ankle when I did on January 26th…….was this a spontaneous occurrence……will I look back and see meaning in the upset, annoyance and delay caused by my accident and recuperation journey?

I missed post forty-one yesterday… just to busy with the building permit application process…. however I don’t feel too bad about this as I wrote two posts (by mistake) on Day Twenty-Seven!
