One Hundred Days: Day Forty-Three

Spread the love

The Eagles are making an ungainly racket this morning…..that’s a definite habinger of Spring! Pretty soon I’ll be watching their courtship dances or courtship flights as they ride the updrafts over the bluff, just a few feet from my deck.

I captured this image a few years ago and that was only after several years of trying……..

My recuperation journey needs a shot in the arm……..and I am hoping that will happen next Wednesday when I have a progress update Xray at Seattle Orthopedic Clinic. Supposedly they can actually tell that my new hardware; stainless screws and stainless plate are fusing with my bones. If so I am hoping I can start the possible “painful” phase of learning to walk again…..and begin to totally lose the wheelchair which I have got so good at maneuvering around my house!

The patience ingredient is wearing thin…Oh, I wrote about patience in an early post; Day-Four and I can certainly learn from what I wrote thirty-nine days ago……

Conclusion: One Hundred Days is a long time in certain context. However in the overall scheme of things….. it may only be a drop in the bucket:-)

Challenge: To keep up my self-imposed focus of one post every day for one hundred days.
